SPR# MKSHDJM9SS - Server - Security - ID Vault - Notes clients and Domino servers that are pre-14.0 do not have the latent support for a new default algorithm enabled in14.5 for password authentication transactions. So any ID Vault password authentication transactions consisting for one end running pre-14.0 code and the other end running 14.5+ code could encounter an ID Vault password authentication failure "Illegal Security function code". See KB0122915. This interop issue was introduced in 14.5.
